The Alderwood Farms eggs are sourced and produced entirely from Southwestern Ontario. Family-run businesses are the core of all Alderwood Farms products, but are most noted in our egg line. Most of the flocks are considered “backyard” flocks, meaning each farmer raises less than 500 birds at a time. This allows for a few things – a high level of awareness of animal husbandry, easy pasture access for the free-range birds, and a dark yellow yolk in each egg.
